DeKALB – The Egyptian Theatre in DeKalb will welcome back the Dean Martin & Jerry Lewis Tribute Show at 8 p.m. Oct. 25.
Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis were one of the hottest acts in America during the early 1950s. Dean was the straight man with a charming voice and Jerry was the lovable goof ball who added the comedy. Now, artists Tom Stevens and Tony Lewis have captured the look, the sound, the very essence and chemistry of the two icons.
Each of these performers have had success on their own. Tony Lewis spent the past 27 years performing in Australia, and created a name for himself as the "quintessential" Jerry Lewis tribute artist. Since his first appearance at the annual Dean Martin Festival in 1998, Tom Stevens has earned his title as "Best Dean Martin Tribute Artist."
Ticket prices start at $20 with a $5 discount for students and seniors. Tickets can be bought online at egyptiantheatre.org, by phone at 815-758-1225 or at the Egyptian Theatre box office.
The Egyptian Theatre, at 135 N. Second St. in DeKalb, is owned and operated by Preservation of Egyptian Theatre Inc., a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
