DeKALB – Because October is Disability Awareness Month, the DeKalb Public Library will host a discussion on biases and general interaction with people with disabilities at 3 p.m. Friday.
Presenters will be J.J. Wett and Katie Lee. They will address common etiquette tips and how to approach misconceptions about dating someone who may identify as disabled.
This free program is intended for adults. No registration is necessary. It will be in the lower-level Zimmerman Meeting Room.
