Sycamore Lions Club awards scholarships

The Sycamore Lions Club awarded one Career and four Volunteer Service Scholarships this past June to graduating seniors in the Class of 2017.

The Volunteer Service Scholarship winners are Kiyas Kousoulas, Trevor McDonald, Hunter Thomas and Jacob Handel. The Career Scholarship winner is Katelyn Helmold.

Earlier in the 2016 -2017 acedemic school year, the Sycamore Lions presented Michelle Schlieben a scholarship. She returned to school and is in the Kishwaukee College nursing program. A total of $4,000 in scholarships was awarded by the Sycamore Lions this past school year.
