Kish Art Gallery hosts high school art exhibition

MALTA – The Kishwaukee College Art Gallery is hosting the Juried High School Student Art Exhibition through March 6.

The closing reception will be held in the Art Gallery from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday with an Awards Ceremony at 6 p.m.

Rising artistic talent is featured in this juried exhibition where local high school students submitted their best work to share with the community. Prizes are awarded to top-ranking artworks. This year’s show features work by students from Hiawatha, DeKalb, Sycamore and Rochelle high schools.

Admission to the Art Gallery and exhibition is free and open to the public. The gallery is located in C1260 and is most easily accessed from Parking Lot B, entering through door 58.

The Art Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Thursday for the spring semester.
