Veterinarian visits G-K class

Dr. Samantha Dannehy, who joined the Genoa Animal Hospital this year, recently visited the seventh-grade leadership class at Genoa-Kingston Middle School to share her passion of caring for animals. Teacher Carol Hencken invites community leaders to share their background with her students. Dannehy grew up in Marengo, attended Monmouth College and graduated from the University of Illinois in veterinary medicine in 2017. She specializes in preventative care and strengthening the human-pet bond. She encouraged the students to do their best in school.
